stuff

i have been a 2% blogger as of late. i would apologize but when you don't feel like anyone reads your blog, the guilt just isn't there. so i'll just quickly touch on a few matters of late...

aggies are going to the sweet sixteen and that's pretty much the greatest thing ever. what makes it even better is that we're playing in san antonio so it's basically home court advantage. take that louisville. and if i had a few hundred dollars to throw out on a ticket i would...but i don't have a few hundred dollars to throw around. dangit. anyways, game is thursday and i will be getting increasingly excited until then. sadly though, i don't have games to watch online at work anymore resulting in me having to find something to do to pass the time again..

got cable this past weekend and it's pretty great. i have so many channels, i don't even know what to do with them all. oh and dvr...pretty much a life changer...wow...life is good.

went to dallas...AGAIN...i think im going to take a break now. 3 times in 4 weeks is about 3 times too many. oh and 35? yeah, evidently i was traveling back to austin with pretty much everyone in texas...my best guess is kiddos coming back from spring break. i didn't take that into consideration when i started my trek home but i did catch most of the ut/usc game on the radio and hearing tx lose badly did make the drive a lot more bearable. sorry ut fans but ive about hit my limit of hearing about kevin durant and the longhorns.

running a 10K on sunday. it's supposed to rain for the next 10 years or so. that's just fantastic seeing as how wet socks really piss me off.

back to work. hooray.

You went to Dallas for Saint Patrick's Day and nothing happened there that was worth mentioning?

hmm...dallas + st pattys day = lots of ridiculously drunk people drinking in the most random of places (ie. parking your truck at a gas station and having your own little tailgate party...i guess the point being that you just want to appear in public getting completely wasted so that people driving by can be embarrassed for you). oh and evidently there was a parade that morning that had strippers in scantily clad clothing dancing on poles. stay classy, dallas. (im not saying austin didnt perhaps have similar events but i wasnt there to witness them). sorry ben, no good stories. and how come everytime i come to dallas, you and kendal leave? are yall afraid of me or something?
