snippets in a completely unrelated manner
been a bad blogger. sorry for that. unemployment will do that to you. yes, still unemployed but doing alright. hoping to start that virtual tour thing. yeah i said that 2 months ago but now i really do mean it. mean it as in, im running out of money and it better dang well work out otherwise starbucks here i come.
got a new toy recently - a macbook pro. it's real fun although i know basically nothing about macs and the transition has been tricky. any well versed mac user interested in giving me some pointers ill gladly accept.
been reading a lot lately. read marley and me and ps i love you and currently on kite runner. and yeah, i actually finished those first 2 books which is a shocker since i finish about 20% of the books i start. trying to work on that.
been trying to cook more. watching a lot of the food network which really only just makes me hungry and doesnt teach me much about cooking. i guess it would if i took notes or something while i watched but thats too similiar to school and im just not down with that.
cooking more...eating more....needing to work out more. still enjoying the bike. havent gotten too many rides in as of late bc of el nino. wet ground is not optimal riding conditions for me so once noah's flood stops then ill bring it out of retirement again.
speaking of noah...saw evan almighty. it was ok. saw die hard 42 or whatever number it's on. decent. saw ocean's 13. liked it. better than 12, not as good as 11. saw once, a sundance film probably not on tons of theaters. LOVED it. highly recommend it. it's about some singer songwriters and the music is fantastic in it.
it needs to stop raining. of course last year we were complaining of no rain and then we get this this year. never satisfied. i will say that ill take rain over 100 degree weather. however a couple of sunny days here and there wouldnt hurt. plus, i wanna float the river and i dont think it's quite safe to do that right now. and i really want to go to schlitterbahn...really, really, want to...
